This week’s Edgewater Sustainability Seminar will be “Thrifting on the Edge” led by Edgewater resident Jimmy Jones. Jimmy has been a professional second hand e-commerce specialist for over five years. Come to this thrifty discussion to learn tips from an expert such as where to shop and to hear about some of the nicer finds that were second hand and not at all junk such as furniture, cookware and fancy decor to name a few. For many types of goods, there is actually no need to consume valuable resources buying new when gently used items can be found for a fraction of new item costs. We will explore how to keep stuff out of landfills while saving money!
The Edgewater Sustainability Seminar is held at the Edgewater Library at 25th and Gray. Seminars are regularly on the third Tuesday of each month throughout 2018 starting at 7 pm.
