6th grade students at Edgewater Elementary School have been partnering with City of Edgewater staff on a problem based learning project to design a new playground for the school. On Thursday night (12/6) students presented a proposal to seek a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant with the City of Edgewater to start replacing their playground. Edgewater City Council was convinced by the students’ proposal and voted unanimously to seek a grant to start replacing the Edgewater Elementary School playground.
