The Edgewater Planning and Zoning Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 19 to discuss a Planned Unit Development of The Village at Edgewater Subdivision. The meeting will be at 7 pm at the Edgewater Civic Center (1800 Harlan Street).
The Village at Edgewater Subdivision is planned for the property just north of the Terra Village Apartments at 29th and Kendall Street. Edgewater City Planner Patty McCartney describes the development in the Executive Summary, “The proposed The Village at Edgewater Subdivision(“Subdivision”) includes: 56 lots for two-family and multiple-family dwelling units; dedication of public park/open space tracts; private street; utility/access tracts; and, Kendall Street right-of-way improvements generally located at the southeast corner of W. 29th Avenue and Kendall Street.”
The development will include connecting Kendall Street from 26th Avenue to 29th Avenue. The property is currently an undeveloped, wooded area.
