Business Spotlight: DriveTrain Fitness

Here at the Edgewater Echo we are a little biased in our coverage of local businesses and try to spotlight just businesses that are right here in our small community. But we also like to spotlight businesses owned by Edgewater residents.

So here’s the press release from DriveTrain Fitness which is owned by Edgewater residents Luke and Lindsey Jasso and is just up the road on Tennyson Street:

After a year of planning and construction, Luke and Lindsey Jasso will open their new Lagree Fitness Studio in the heart of Tennyson at 4204 Tennyson Street, Suite 200.

“We both love a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle and after doing the workout for nine years, a Lagree studio just felt right” said Lindsey Jasso, co-owner of DriveTrain Fitness.  “Lagree is one of the most effective workouts on the market right now.  A significant amount of research and development has gone into the Lagree brand over the last 20 years and as a result, this method produces amazing results.”

The fitness studio will open with 12 patented machines called Megaformers.  Megaformers use a spring-based tension system that provides resistance during a series of sequential, high-intensity, low-impact strengthening exercises.  The workout is designed to test and improve cardio, strength, endurance, core, balance and flexibility.

“DriveTrain Fitness is a really welcoming community,” stated Eliza Lanman, a client of the studio. “From the moment you walk in the door, everyone is pumped to be there – to push ourselves and others further than we thought we could go.  I’m working hard but it’s dynamic enough that I don’t even notice the time.  I feel sore after every class.  The type of sore where I can feel my body getting stronger and my muscles responding to that strength.”

Located in the heart of the Tennyson Street Cultural Arts District, DriveTrain Fitness is in a newly constructed, second-story studio with a warm, yet industrial feel.  South-facing windows allow for natural light to flow into the studio all day long.

“When we found out about this space, we jumped on the opportunity to open our fitness studio in the Tennyson-Berkley area,” stated Luke Jasso, co-owner.  “The studio is in a perfect location and provides a great open-air design to help bring our vision of an inspirational yet challenging workout to our clientele.  The feel of the studio is truly unique, with a warm and inviting appeal.”

“We’ve also hired some of the best certified Lagree trainers in Denver to lead our classes.” continued Luke Jasso.

With 61 classes currently available, each class is 45-55 minutes long.  Pricing for drop-in classes starts at $30 and DriveTrain Fitness is offering a variety of monthly and package pricing options for those who want to kick start their New Year’s resolution to get in shape.  For more information or to purchase a package of classes: www.drivetrainfitness.com, @drivetrainfit on Instagram or www.facebook.com/drivetrainfitness on Facebook.
