The Edgewater City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled Business Meeting and Work Session on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 pm. The meeting will take place at the Edgewater Civic Center located at 1800 Harlan Street.
Council will be discussing an ordinance that would raise the minimum age to purchase tobacco products to 21 years old. The developers of the Edgewater Town Square project at 25th and Gray sent City Council members a letter requesting code changes for the project which will be discussed at the Council meeting.
During the Work Session, Council members will discuss possible licensing and regulations for electric scooters as well as discuss the sale of the former Edgewater Municipal Building at 2401 Sheridan Boulevard in Executive Session.
