The City of Edgewater is seeking a Planning Manager (1 FTE). Edgewater is a City of approximately 5,100 nestled in the middle of the Denver Metropolitan Area across from Sloan’s Lake. The Planning Manager is responsible to the City Manager for the administration of the Planning Department and for the performance of such other functions and duties that may be required by law consistent with the City Charter, the ordinances and resolutions of the City Council and the directions of the City Manager

EDGEWATER LIBRARY

Edgewater Library offers Play & Learn series for families with young children Help your little ones play, move, socialize and use their imagination. This is what Jefferson County Public Library hopes to help families do more of through its Play & Learn series beginning September 21.

With community professionals on hand, including speech therapists, child behavior specialists, music teachers and nutritionists, families can talk with experts, explore toys, make crafts and get questions answered in a fun and informal setting. The free series begins September 21 and continues for five consecutive Saturdays, 9:30-10:45 AM.

You can register at the Library, jeffcolibrary.org or 303-235-5275. Siblings under five are welcome and do not need to be registered. Family Place Libraries™ is a nationwide network of children’s librarians who believe that learning begins at birth, and that libraries can build healthy communities by supporting healthy families. The Family Place Libraries network includes more than 450 sites in 30 states and continues to grow.
