In November 2018, Jeffco voters passed Jeffco Public Schools’ ballot questions 5A and 5B. The passage of 5B dedicated $567 million in one-time funds for construction in the school district. Each of the three Edgewater schools (Edgewater Elementary, Lumberg Elementary and Jefferson Junior/Senior High) were slated for additions, remodeling of the building interior and other improvements.
Schools across the district are at different stages of the design and build process, so we reached out to Jeffco Public Schools to get an update on improvements to Edgewater schools.
Below are the preliminary projects and timing for start and completion from Jeffco Public Schools bond construction staff. The specifics could change based on pricing.
