Sustainable Edgewater Seminar 37: Edgewater Greenhouse Gas Inventory

From Xerxes Steirer:

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Come to the next Edgewater Sustainability Seminar to learn about our City’s recent greenhouse gas inventory. Ms. Baldridge completed the first greenhouse gas inventory for the City of Edgewater in 2019 and will be discussing the results and how she did it! Bring your questions and be ready to learn a lot about Edgewater’s carbon footprint.

Melissa Baldridge is an award-winning sustainability professional based in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Baldridge has modeled and certified 1.2 million square feet of property nationally, and her clients have saved hundreds of tons of carbon annually from being emitted. In 2010, she co-founded the GreenSpot companies, which transacted and helped develop over $340 million of real estate in Colorado. She has also worked with teams to integrate 203 megawatts of solar photovoltaic renewable energy and designed a 15-megawatt solar farm with workforce development in western Puerto Rico, a project which is currently looking for investors. Ms. Baldridge is a Certified Energy Manager, a LEED Accredited Professional, and completing a master’s degree in sustainability at Harvard University.
