Yesterday (2/12/2020), the Edgewater Public Market posted an announcement on their Facebook page concerning regulations that will prevent dogs inside the food hall starting on March 1. The announcement read:
We regret to inform you that due to state health regulations we will no longer allow dogs inside the food hall on a daily basis effective March 1st. We appreciate all of you who have brought and shared your dog with us, and we look forward to seeing you and your furry friends on our main level patios. Stay tuned for specific dog-friendly events that will be coming soon at Edgewater Public Market.
What are your thoughts on dogs inside the food hall at the Edgewater Public Market?

I thought it was a nice idea, but I really wasn’t sure how well having dogs in an area where food was being prepared/served would work. There have always been a lot of dogs when we have been there, and not all of them were well behaved, climbing on the tables/benches, trying to steal food from other people, besides the possibilities of using the hall as a bathroom area. And yes, I did see dogs doing these very things, plus a few more. We personally never took our dog, as she is old and would not have been comfortable in that situation.
