The last state title for a Jefferson sports team was the 1968 baseball title, but that could all change tonight. Jefferson Junior/Senior High School entered the state wrestling tournament ranked #1 in 3A, and entering today’s matches, they remain at the top of the team leader board.

Jefferson has three wrestlers who will complete in the finals this evening.
Angelo Lozado, 113 lb
Zander Condit, 145 lb
Nick Gallegos, 152 lb
Jefferson also has four wrestlers alive in the consolations:
Jimmy Ramirez III, 126 lb
Jose Campos, 138 lb
Alberto Zelaya, 160 lb
Randy Duran, 170 lb
