We love spotlighting our local businesses right here in Edgewater, especially given the challenges of COVID-19. Here’s our interview Andrew Schilling from YogaSix which will be opening soon at the Edgewater Public Market.
How did you get involved in this business?
We were looking for the next “big thing” in fitness that could truly enhance people’s lives and serve a large demographic. We found out about boutique fitness and really liked the positive community that YogaSix was creating across the country.
What drew you to move to Edgewater?
Edgewater has a very bright future given its geographic location on the west side of Denver and the constantly growing population in the Denver area. We also felt there was a dire need for a high quality yoga presence in the Edgewater area.
What will you offer in your space?
Six types of vinyasa based yoga classes for all experience levels. We’ll also offer on-line yoga classes and yoga-related retail items at our studio.
What makes your business unique?
Our welcoming community and vinyasa based yoga experience is what makes us unique. With our six classes, there’s literally something for everyone. There’s also at least 17 YogaSix studios coming to the Denver area in the near future and YogaSix is the fastest growing yoga business in the US. Edgewater will be the third of the 17 and should open in August 2020.
