From the City of Edgewater:
The City of Edgewater will be installing raised crosswalks to the section of Pierce Street between 22nd and 24th Avenues to slow traffic down and allow safer crossing by pedestrians. This work is scheduled to begin this Friday, August 28th. During the construction period, this portion of Pierce Street will be closed to traffic and access by pedestrians will be limited. The majority of the construction is anticipated to take about three weeks.
