For the safety of our community and runners, this year’s Roger’s Run will be virtual which means you can run your mile anywhere and anytime during the month of September.
Support Our Community
75% of race registration fees will go toward Edgewater Collective’s work supporting neighborhood schools and 25% will go back to neighborhood businesses to cover the cost of gift cards. Those who finish their mile run will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card to a neighborhood business.
Get Started
1. Register for the race here. Individual race fee is $25.
2. Share with your friends. You can even set up your own fundraising page or ask friends and family to join your team.
3. Run your one mile anywhere and anytime during the month of September. If you are in the Denver area, you can even run the Roger’s Run one mile route. Start at Sheridan Boulevard by Joyride Brewing Company, run up to Harlan Street and loop back and finish at Sheridan. Then cool off with a Joyride brew on their rooftop patio!
About Roger’s Run
For the last 6 years, we have organized the Edgewater 5k to raise funds for our efforts supporting local schools and the Edgewater community. This year we are going to go in a different direction with Roger’s Fun Run!
This year’s run will be virtual but if we all work together to protect our neighbors, practice social distancing and wear our masks then Roger’s Run in May 2021 will be in person!
Because our community is just less than a square mile, Roger’s Fun Run 2021 will be a one mile out and back run on Edgewater’s historic 25th Avenue. The race will begin in front of Joyride Brewing Company at 25th and Sheridan and run/walk uphill to Harlan Street. Then runners and walkers will loop around Roger and then head back downhill to Joyride.
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
