City of Edgewater: Edgewater Resident Assistance Program

From the City of Edgewater:

The Edgewater Resident Assistance Program is for residents of the City of Edgewater who have lost substantial household income (20% or more) due to the COVID crisis. The City is partnering with Brothers Redevelopment, an Edgewater nonprofit, to administer the application process.

Applicants are eligible to receive one $750 grant each month while funds are available. Eligible households may reapply after one month of receipt of funds if they are still experiencing hardship due to COVID.

Questions may be directed to EDGE1@BrothersRedevelopment.org or 303-202-6340.

  3. I was happy to be the recipient of the Edgewater assistance program last fall.

My situation is unchanged, and I have not worked since 3/14/2020.
The paper form says I must be a Denver resident, and I am having problems with applying online.
Nothing has changed for me since the last benefit, and I wondered if you could just look at your records, and reapply for me. Thank you for your consideration, Phil Thompson 1944 Depew St. Edgewater, co. 80214

I have been unemployed since 9/07/20.
First I caught the virus and soon after I had surgery and I am still recovering. Once I heal from my foot surgery, I will be having another surgery done on the other foot.

I have been without work since Jan.2020, I was at my job for 9yr. my childrens school switched to remote learning. My youngest child was in 2nd grade so I couldn’t leave him on his own. Im still feeling like a rock and a hard place. I don’t receive Unemployment anymore, and Im not on section 8. Its the lesser of two evils. I have to leave to work to keep the roof over our heads. I could really us the help. Its extremely overwhelming.
