Pathway Pods: Funding After School Enrichment

From Edgewater Collective:

Since the pandemic began impacting all our lives last March, we have been listening to our community, rallying support and connecting resources to those who need it most. Whether it was delivering meals from local restaurants through Mutual Meals, hosting summer lunch sites through Lunch and Learn or connecting housing grants to immigrant families, we are grateful for your support in these ventures.

Since September 2020, we have been focused on delivering free, quality enrichment and academic supports for students and families through Pathway Pods. As the weather has warmed up, this upcoming Monday we are expanding Pathway Pods to two outdoor park sites in northeast Lakewood and southeast Arvada. Thanks to Community First Foundation, we have been able to partner with Balón USA to bring their soccer programming to both parks.

Here’s a look at the programming we will be offering for free to students and families:

As we expand this programming to a second site, we would love your financial support to continue these programs for students and families. For example, one of our most successful programs is our family cooking classes led by Tania Fonseca on Thursday nights over Zoom. Families that participate receive a $25 gift card to purchase ingredients for the class. Your financial support enables us to provide this fun family activity and a delicious meal.

Thank you so much for supporting our work! You can donate to Pathway Pods here.
