From the City of Edgewater:
On Monday, November 1, 2021 as part of the implementation of the Traffic Calming Mobility Plan the intersection at 25th and Gray will be fully closed for construction of a raised intersection. This will help reduce speeds and make the area safer for pedestrians. The work is expected to take several weeks and timing will depend on weather conditions. Traffic control signage will be in place to highlight the expected detour routes, please avoid the construction area if possible.
Also, on Nov 1, 2021 construction will begin on a new, widened sidewalk on the north side of 20th Avenue between Depew Street and Harlan Street. Traffic will be maintained in both directions during the construction, but lanes will be shifted periodically to accommodate construction equipment.
