From the City of Edgewater:
Construction work is progressing in Edgewater! Crews are ahead of schedule on the sidewalk widening along 20th Ave. The drainage infrastructure at 25th and Gray for the raised intersection is also moving along, we do expect that intersection to be closed for several more weeks.
Beginning on Tuesday 11/16/21, the first phase of the roundabout construction at 20th Avenue and Harlan Street will begin. This phase requires closure of north and south bound Harlan Street. We anticipate leaving 20th Avenue open in both directions, however, the intersection will be closed at all directions for the installation of a waterline happening on 11/16.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
