Edgewater Yarn Shop The Tangled Ball Offers Free Knitting & Crocheting Supplies for People Who Lost Their Homes in the Recent Boulder County Fires

From Oh Hey Creative:

Community-focused yarn shop The Tangled Ball, located inside Edgewater Public Market (5505 West 20th Ave., Edgewater, CO 80214), has collected a roomful of donated goods specifically for knitters and crocheters who lost their homes in the recent Marshall and Middle Fork Fires in Boulder County.

Affected people who are interested in free knitting/crocheting supplies are invited to visit The Tangled Ball to “shop” the room full of donated goods.

“Knitting supplies probably aren’t the first things people think of replacing after such devastating fires,” said Marsha Corn, owner of The Tangled Ball. “But avid and even casual knitters could have lost hundreds of dollars of supplies and equipment. We just wanted to do something to help those people.”

Items available include a large selection of project-quantity yarn, assembled kits, needles, hooks and notions, project bags, and pattern books.

These items were all donated by members of the metro Denver yarn community, The Tangled Ball customers, ChaioGoo Needles and Hooks, and Knitting Fever International..

The Tangled Ball is open every day inside Edgewater Public Market, and located in the market hall’s retail section. The Tangled Ball’s hours are Monday, 12 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, 12 to 6 p.m.; Wednesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m.
