West Metro Fire Protection District Board of Directors Election

From West Metro Fire Protection District:

West Metro is conducting a Board of Directors election on Tuesday, May 3. This is a polling place election, however, you can vote by absentee ballot.

These polling locations will be open between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm:

West Metro Fire Station 17

Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

433 S. Allison Parkway
Lakewood, CO 80226

West Metro Training Center
3535 S. Kipling Street
Lakewood, CO 80235

West Metro Station 15
6220 N. Roxborough Park Road
Littleton, CO 80125

Candidates on the ballot (to serve a three-year term):

Director District One (vote for one)        Russell Weisfield and Donald Sherman

Director District Two                              Jerry Cassel

Director District Three                           Michael Feeley

Director District Five                             Caroline Wolfrum

To be eligible to vote: a person who has been a resident of the District, or who, or whose spouse or civil union partner, owns taxable real or personal property within the District, whether said person resides within the District or not, or a person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District shall be considered an owner of taxable property for the purpose of qualifying as an eligible voter.

Applications for absentee ballots must be filed with the designated election official (DEO) by April 26, 2022. An application form for absentee voting in this West Metro Fire Protection District election may be obtained at the District office at 433 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80226 or found on the District website, www.westmetrofire.org.
