Exciting Plans for Reimagining Walker-Branch Park

Graphic from Livable Cities Studio

The cities of Edgewater and Lakewood have been working together to reimagine Walker-Branch Park with input from the community over the last year. Walker-Branch Park is shared by both Edgewater and Lakewood and is located just south of the Edgewater Civic Center along Harlan Street from 19th Avenue to 16th Avenue.

The final draft includes exciting new additions to the park including a dog park, play structures, expansion of art installations along the 40 West ArtLine, community gathering spaces and a pollinator garden.

The final draft of the master plan is now ready to view and community members have an opportunity to leave comments by July 31.
