Add Your Input: Edgewater Urban Forest Master Plan

From the City of Edgewater:

Access to the benefits that trees provide is something that impacts the whole community – from those who live here to those who live, work, recreate, or go to school here. The City of Edgewater is completing their first ever Urban Forest Master Plan which will look at where there may be gaps in the existing trees in Edgewater, as well as create a roadmap for how to manage, maintain, and grow the city’s urban forest for years to come.

For this project, the City would like to hear from you about how you view the trees in the city and what you feel needs to be prioritized to better manage and grow the forest over time. What about trees do you most value in Edgewater? What challenges do trees present to you that you’d like to see addressed? Are there enough trees where you live, work, and play in Edgewater?

Tell the city project team what you think by taking a quick survey on the project webpage at https://envisionedgewaterco.com/urban-forestry-management-plan.

Surveys are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and should take 10 minutes or less to complete. And don’t forget to submit your email at the end of the survey for a chance to win a free goodie bag from the city!
