The Jefferson County League of Women Voters is organizing the Edgewater Candidate Forum this Thursday, October 12 from 6-8 p.m. in the Edgewater City Council Chambers (1800 Harlan Street). The forum is for candidates for Edgewater City Council and Edgewater Mayor.
There will be four open seats on City Council. Current Councilmembers Bill Berg and Kali Janda are running for reelection. Joie Iten, Jonathan Thomsen, and Mercedes Valdez are also running for City Council. Current City Councilmember Steve Conklin is running for Edgewater Mayor and Cassidy Binder is running as a write-in candidate for mayor.
