With school budgets shrinking quickly, important programs for students are being scaled back and losing funding. Athletic programs at Edgewater’s local Jefferson Junior/Senior High School are experiencing a loss in funding that will only increase over the next school year. Local nonprofit Edgewater Collective is working with staff at Jefferson Junior/Senior High School to organize a 1 kilometer fun run to benefit the track and cross country programs. Roger’s Run will be on Saturday, April 18.
Run/walk from Memorial Park to Harlan Street and back along historic 25th Avenue in beautiful Edgewater!
Run Schedule
- Check-in: 9 a.m. at Memorial Park (5470 W 25th Ave, Edgewater, CO 80214)
- Race start: 10 a.m.
Registration
- Early registration: $20
- Race day registration: $30
- Free for participants age 18 and under!
100% of race registration fees will go to support the track and cross country programs at Jefferson Junior/Senior High School right here in Edgewater
