Dunkin Donuts Hosting Tennyson Center Fundraiser

72

The Dunkin’ Donuts located at 2001 Sheridan in Edgewater is partnering with the Tennyson Center to help celebrate the nonprofit’s 110th birthday. Twenty percent of all sales on August 19 at the Edgewater restaurant will be donated directly to the Tennyson Center. Guests can visit the restaurant by both drive-thru and dine-in any time between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. to participate in the fundraiser.

Josh Blanchard, franchise owner of the Dunkin’ Donuts Edgewater location, stated that this fundraiser is just one of several community events the restaurant is planning to support on an annual basis.

“We are continuing to grow and will be opening more Dunkin’ Donuts in the metro area over the next few years. With that, our involvement in the communities in which we serve will only increase,” Blanchard said.

The Tennyson Center is a leading treatment center and K-12 school for emotionally and crisis-affected children, many of whom have experienced abuse and neglect.

“Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with the Tennyson Center,” Blanchard said. “The work they do is inspiring and incredibly impactful to the kids, their families, and to our local community.”

The Tennyson Center, located at 2950 Tennyson Center, is in close proximity to the Edgewater Dunkin’ Donuts. The center opened its doors as the Colorado Christian Home in 1904, and was the first certified residential treatment center for abused and neglected children in Colorado.

“We are so honored to be partnering with Dunkin’ Donuts for this fundraiser. We wouldn’t be able to fulfill our mission of service to kids and families without the generous support of the community, and our good friends at Dunkin’ Donuts understand that as well,” said Dave Sevick, Tennyson Center Marketing Director. We are proud of Dunkin’ Donuts’ commitment of giving back to the community, and we are excited about this wonderful opportunity.”
