Police Department Prescription Drug Drop-Off

Edgewater PD in partnership with the DEA and our local King Soopers Store will be hosting our annual Prescription Drug drop off program tomorrow. Corporal Young will be available at the King Soopers Store, 1725 Sheridan Blvd from 10 am – 2 pm tomorrow to assist.

Edgewater Civic Center Grand Opening

Mark your calendars for Sunday November 18th from 2pm – 6pm for the Grand Opening of the Edgewater Civic Center. Following the Ribbon Cutting (at 2pm) there will be a number of kids activities and areas open in the Civic Center ending with a movie in the gym. Parking for this event is limited so if possible walk, ride or run to the event. We will also have a group walk/ride starting at 24th Avenue and Sheridan Blvd. (Municipal Building). Bike parking will be provided at the Civic Center. Find more details as they become available at www.edgewaterco.com.

Edgewater Civic Center Pre-Opening Tours

Time slots are now available (www.playedgewater.com) to sign up for pre-opening tours of the new Edgewater Civic Center. Be the first to see the entire building! Tours will be offered Saturday November 17th and Sunday November 18th but only for participants that pre-register. For more information or for assistance with signing up for a tour please call 720-763-3012.

Parks and Recreation

Halloween at the Orum House: If you are out Trick-or-Treating in Edgewater, or just want to come check out the scariest house in Edgewater stop by the Orum House (2444 Depew St.). Volunteers from the Parks, Recreation, Historical Preservation and Arts Advisory Bord will be handing out candy with a few Halloween twists. October 31st at 4:30pm – 8pm.
