From Xerxes Steirer:
This month’s Edgewater Sustainability Seminar topic is Energy Technology, how we make it, how we use it and how to keep improving it.
Addressing both our own health and the planet’s health, many states and local governments across the globe have set 100% clean energy goals to be achieved mostly within the next two decades. New technologies will be needed to meet societies’ need for healthy air, productive lives and climatic solutions.
In this talk, I will discuss scientific research for clean energy including solar fuels, safer batteries and self powering devices.
In addition to research I also teach classes on energy at the Colorado School of Mines. This talk will benefit from lots of Q and A. Please come prepared with your energy technology questions.
