Barquentine opened on February 29, 2020, just before the pandemic changed life as we knew it. Barquentine pivoted to sell to-go beer and sailed through the pandemic waves to arrive where they are now. Like other small business owners in Edgewater who weathered the storms of the pandemic, they deserve to celebrate their second anniversary with the community.
Joel has been a resident of Edgewater, Colorado with his family since 2012. He is the Executive Director of local education nonprofit Edgewater Collective and Editor of the Edgewater Echo.
