The Edgewater City Council will meet for a Business Meeting and Work Session on Tuesday, March 21 starting at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually and in-person.
During the Business Meeting, City Council will discuss and take possible action on the following:
- Approval of the Planned Unit Development amendment for the addition of the biergarden to the existing Edgewater Inn.
- Sidewalk code changes
- Property appraisal for 5440 W. 25th Avenue.
- According to the agenda item, “City Council is interested in hiring a State approved appraiser to evaluate the property located at 5440 W. 25th Ave. Hiring an appraiser is the first step in developing a full analysis of a property and does not signify the City will purchase the property, rather that the City is investigating the options prior to discussion. This appraisal provides City leaders the marketable purchase rates of the property for discussion purposes. At this time, the purchase would provide space for future development in-line with the community vision addressed in the forthcoming Edgewater Comprehensive Plan Update.”
