Why would the city want to buy another prime piece of property? They haven’t been able to do anything with the old municipal bldg on Sheridan. They spent a lot of money on remediation just to tear it down. I would hope a developer could extend the 25th Ave business district with more commercial. If their idea is to force affordable housing in such a prime area they aren’t looking out for the best Interests of the entire community.
