The Edgewater City Council will meet for a Business Meeting and Work Session on Tuesday, April 6 starting at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually and in-person.
During the Business Meeting, Edgewater City Council will listen to a presentation from the Housing and Homelessness Navigators and discuss purchasing the property at 2447 Benton Street. This house sits to the south of the property at 5440 W. 25th Avenue (currently houses Lightway at Sloans childcare center and rental units) that the City of Edgewater purchased last fall. No immediate changes are planned for these properties, but would provide space for future developments.
