Youth Soccer: Youth Soccer registration ends in person on Friday, August 31 and online on Sunday September 2nd. Please register ASAP to hold your spot for the 2018 fall youth soccer season.

Youth soccer is for boys and girls ages 5-12 at any skill level. Each age group will consist of 8 practices where they will learn the basics of ball handling, kicking, passing and working as a team. Having fun and participation are our main concentration for our youth soccer program. Practices will be held at Citizen’s Park (24th & Chase St.) every Wednesday evening and games will be held on Saturday’s.

Special Events/Parks: With our outdoor special event season done at the park we are looking to spend some time revitalizing the grass area. Please be patient with us as we have irrigation fixes, grass seeding, and aerating going on to prepare for the fall and winter. We will also be cutting our grass at longer lengths to allow a good amount of root growth and allow a canopy to the soil below.

Code Enforcement

School is back in session, and there may be an increase in graffiti. If you see graffiti, please report it immediately so it can be removed as soon as possible.

Even though summer is winding down, any detachable non- motorized equipment including boats, rv’s, pop-up campers, and utility trailers are not allowed to be parked on city streets longer than 2 hours. If they remain parked on city streets longer than 2 hours, the owner of said equipment may receive a code violation warning.
