Seniors/Older Adults: Valentine’s Day Floral Class, $10 – Tuesday, February 12th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Deadline: Monday, 2/11
Valentine’s Day Senior Luncheon: $10 – Wednesday, February 13th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Deadline: Tuesday, 2/12
SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit: BOTH of these older adult fitness programs are coming!! Starting March 1st, older adults ages 60+, that are enrolled in a participating insurance program that offers either SilverSneakers or Silver&Fit can begin using their benefits at the Edgewater Fitness Center. Youth Basketball: Jr. Saints Basketball and Start Smart Basketball registrations are now open and closes Feb. 24th for registrations. Visit www.playedgewater.com or visit the Fitness Center Desk to register.
Fitness Classes: The City of Edgewater’s Fitness Center now has their fitness class schedules available online at www.playedgewater.com – Yoga, Spin, Boot Camp and more! Drop in fees for classes range from $7 – $10. For those who have an annual pass, Beginner Yoga and Spin are included. Classes will be available throughout the day from early morning till early evening.
Open Gym Hours: Starting Monday, January 7th, the Fitness Center Open Gym Hours will begin for Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball and Futsol (indoor soccer). The open gym schedule can be found on our website: www.playedgewater.com For more information about open gym times, classes, etc. please call the Fitness Center Desk at 720.763.3011
Civic Center Fitness Area: Visit us and enjoy the new recreation facilities and open gym times! Drop-in rates for youth are $2 or you can get a 15-punch pass for your child for $25.50. There is also an annual rate for youth members of $100 for a Jeffco Resident and $120 for non-Jeffco Resident. Adult and Senior drop-ins, 15 punch passes and annual passes also available.
Fitness Instructors Needed: We are currently looking for Fitness Instructors to teach/offer in our new facility (i.e. – yoga, spin, barre, FIT, Boot Camp, etc.) For more information, please call the Recreation Desk at 720.763.3011. Applications can be found on the City’s website.
Utilities
Utility Drop-Box: A Utility Payment Drop Box has been installed at the Edgewater Civic Center just west of the front doors on west side of the building. Utility payments can be dropped off at this location 24-7.
