Jefferson Junior/Senior High School wrestlers will be competing at the 3A Region 3 Northwestern Mutual Wagner Health Management Group Regionals this weekend. The event will run from Friday, February 15 through Saturday, February 16 at Jefferson (2305 Pierce Street, Edgewater).
Jefferson Wrestling Coach Oscar Fonseca conveyed his excitement for the tournament, “Hosting regionals is always exciting. It allows our team to showcase their skills in front of our community. This region has 3 of the top 4 teams in the state-Jefferson, Eaton, and Eagle Valley. We have been working hard all year and our wrestlers will be ready to take on the challenge.”
Top four wrestlers from each weight group will qualify for the State Tournament.
Teams Attending: Alameda, Arvada, Eagle Valley, Eaton, Elizabeth, Englewood, Jefferson, Middle Park, Mullen, Sheridan, Skyview, Strasburg, Weld Central
ADMISSION
Each Session: Adults $10 and Students/Seniors $5
Tournament Pass: Adults $20 and Students/Seniors $15
* Only CHSAA, CHSCA and Media Passes will be accepted

1:30 pm – Consolation Finals
3:00 pm – Finals
