Lunch and Learn is project organized by Edgewater Collective and offers free summer lunch sites for children and families that are residents of Lakewood and Edgewater. Lunches are served following all distancing, hand hygiene, masking and site disinfection protocols in a grab and go style. Lunch sites operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Jeffco Public Schools operates lunch sites in the community on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Starting next week, Lunch and Learn will also include 20 minute literacy lessons for kindergarten through 3rd grade students led by local teachers.
